The evolving world of PR

We love keeping up-to-date with the latest thinking and trends in the world of PR, which is why our PR MD Justine Smithis off to Milan next week to attend the 2015 ICCO Global Summit, Food For Thought – A PR Perspective on 8-9 October.

Here Justine explains why KISS is expanding its knowledge base internationally.

“We work with some exciting B2B and B2C clients and the 8-strong PR team recently boasted at our company away day that between them they have nearly 100 years of experience in the industry. But, whilst experience is fundamental it’s also important that we constantly look at new ideas and new opportunities, and where better than an event which brings agencies together from all round the world.

“The ICCO Summit has a great line up of international agency leaders who will share their insight and give advice on the changing nature of PR. From the way globalisation and emerging markets are transforming communications, to digital change, and measurement and evaluation, the event looks certain to stimulate some interesting debate and ideas.

“With demand now coming from our clients for global communications, we recently joined the PROI, an international network of independent agencies across 100 countries to enable us to gain local insight and expertise. Our MD, Sarah Reakes and CEO, Simon Fryer will join me at the PROI International EMEA Regional Meeting in Brussels on 22-23 October. The focus at this event is very much on emotional communications and transformational leadership.

“What both events promise is some ‘out of the box’ thinking, some great networking opportunities and insight from our PR colleagues internationally.”
