You’ll supporting and oversee all matters of day-to-day finance administration function
Sales and purchase ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, payroll, correct audit trail for all transactions as well as identifying and improving processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency at all times.
You’ll work closely with the project teams providing hands on guidance and support
Helping project leads to develop budgets from ground up, communicating effectively to ensure buy in and understanding at all levels, and providing accurate and intuitive information to allow the team to manage client projects profitably and confidently. Preparing and identifying financial analysis and reporting to aid the smooth running of the wider financial operations.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Finance in preparation of month-end reports as well as financial planning & analysis
Monthly deadlines to include trial balance, ledger reconciliations, WIP, month-end adjustments and associated reporting. Working towards independent preparation of month-end files. Financial planning to include company budgets, financial KPIs, profitability, forecasting and financial modelling. Preparing reports that create clarity and transparency to guide our financial decision making
As you grow with the role opportunities will exist to challenge and develop your knowledge and skills
Working with us to automate where possible to work more efficiently and knowledgeably, we’d also be keen for you to take on strategic oversight of compliance for a small business ensuring areas such as ISO accreditations, cyber security and GDPR live and breathe throughout the agency.
You’ll be comfortable and familiar within the billable environment and fully or part qualified ACCA/CINA/ACA/AAT
With advanced Excel ability and strong systems experience, you’ll also be experienced with using Xero; WorkflowMax and Float desirable although training will be provided. Ideally your experience wil have been gained within a creative agency, but this isn’t essential – however you’ll be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels and have a demonstrable ability to communicate financial information to non-financial people.
