KISS Account Directors bring different service and sector expertise and lead integrated and project based integrated advertising, brand, digital, social media, public relations, marketing, strategy and influencer campaigns for our clients that are concentrated in the Science, Technology, Education, Agri, Membership and Professional Services sectors. We’re looking for a Social Media Account Director to take an active role in multiple, high profile social media accounts; to deliver best-in-class project outcomes and work with the wider team of social and comms specialists to ensure the smooth running of relationships with your clients.

You’ll be confident and knowledgeable with traditional and emerging social media platforms

Drawing on your experience of managing social campaigns in an agency environment, you’ll expertly advise our clients and colleagues on when and how to efficiently utilise social media to achieve client ambitions/goals. You’ll be as confident creatively as you are with the background data – understanding reporting metrics and identifying social trends. You’ll enjoy overseeing content creation to ensure you create bold and powerful conversations, creating complex plans for new and existing clients including channels, structures, KPIs estimated performance forecasting and more. You’ll have a strong understanding of how paid social activity varies across social media channels and be knowledgeable around social advertising regulations.

Creatively aware, you’ll be confident working alongside Creative, Strategy and others as a contributing partner

YYou’ll be confident generating independent thinking, encouraging new ideas and challenging, when necessary, based on a sound understanding of a client’s business. You’ll be able to recognise how creative work is delivered against creative strategy and can challenge work based on sound strategic thinking. You’ll be comfortable supporting and advising on KISS’s social media approach and content strategy.

You’ll be ambitious, passionate, and commercially proactive

Confident representing the agency with demonstrable ambition to grow alongside us, you’ll be keen to be a part of our journey to put KISS on the map including representing KISS in the public arena – talks, workshops etc. Recognising the important of first-class client management (both current and new business) you’ll proactively identify, create, and convert opportunities to grow the agency including developing social media strategies across multiple platforms which are integrated with wider marcomms campaigns. Confident and comfortable presenting the leading social media pitches you’ll be used to running high profile social media campaigns that include creative ideas and high-performance amplifications.

You will recognise and promote the importance of project management to agency success

You’ll work closely and collaboratively with the PM team to ensure that project and financial management runs smoothly throughout the life cycle of the project – to include profitability, quotes and invoicing, forecasts, potential risks and solutions, commercial understanding, and financial reporting.

You’ll be knowledgeable of the industries you work in and experienced in agency life

Demonstrating your industry knowledge, ability to apply skills, and experience in your field, you’ll be a positive advocate for leadership in action, confidently able to lead the agency in exemplifying our values, methods, and behaviours. You’ll value the importance of proactively providing coaching, mentoring and leadership to those more junior. You’ll keep your finger on the pulse, staying up to date with platform updates/algorithm changes and providing agency consultancy on these changes, always looking for ways to optimise and improve the agency’s in-house social media process to better inform the strategic and creative outputs.
