KISS is looking for a Social Media Manager to join its busy, vibrant, creative agency and take ownership of managing both client and internal social media strategy and hands on operations.

Fast paced and quality led, you’ll have an ambitious positive attitude with the ability to manage multiple accounts and a love (and appreciation!) for creative content combined with measurable analysis and commercial understanding.

Our Social Media Manager will own the full social lifecycle – from developing social strategies to managing campaigns and creating content – demonstrating excellent client communication and relationship development.

Working closely with members of the KISS team -whether creative, account management, project management or the content team to ensure all are briefed appropriately, and the needs of the account are met.

You’ll be comfortable taking a Hands on approach management of social media accounts for multiple clients (inc Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok etc), planning regular activity and content and ensuring regular appraisal and reporting.

You’ll have an in-depth understanding of tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, Google analytics and practical experience with all publishing tools and be adept at identifying relevant influencers, engaging with them, and managing their performance.

We’ll look to you to lead planning, executing, and managing organic and paid social content across client social media channels; tracking social media metrics versus agreed KPIs to demonstrate ROI, reporting and analysis.

You’ll also have ownership of the Social Media planning and operations requirements for all KISS social media activity, working closely with other teams to ensure a holistic and appropriate social marketing presence.

We think our future Social Media manager will therefore need to have/be:

From proofing documents and checking desired amends have been made on creative work, to checking sends, data and reports, to managing smaller clients on Service Level Agreements with adhoc requests, to providing website testing when needed on projects – the Social Media Manager will have the opportunity to get involved and add value across the agency. To succeed you’ll therefore need to be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to switch between projects as needed.

  • Several years’ experience of working within an agency environment with responsibility for full social media lifecycle tasks across multiple client accounts
  • Demonstrable strong knowledge of social media and digital strategy with the ability to communicate and ‘sell’ this understanding to both senior agency staff and clients
  • Comfortable with managing multiple projects (often with different KPI’s and style) and working with others to achieve success.
  • Self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills and happy to lead this area whilst also undertaking operational tasks as required.
  • Passionate about social media and the impact it can have, you’ll be keen to join a small agency where you can really make a difference.
