The client

8 Solutions is a specialist data centre cleaning company used by the majority of FTSE top 100 companies. They were facing two obstacles to growth. Firstly, many customers and prospects viewed data centre specialist cleaning as a ‘nice to have’, rather than a necessity. Second, cleaning in whatever category was viewed as a low-value service.

The KISS solution

The campaign included press releases announcing new products, thought-leadership, opinion & profile pieces, tips & advice and awards submissions. The activity was targeted towards industry sectors including: computing, data comms, facilities management & business management. To generate cut-through in these crowded marketplaces, we created thought-provoking and highly technical content that got 8 Solutions noticed. Over time we were able to position several members of the team as industry experts, and launch a new, innovative service.
