KISS developers are passionate and enthusiastic about their craft, and take pride in delivering attractive, accessible, stable, immersive, and highly usable web interfaces, demonstrating their ability to code HTML, CSS and presentation JavaScript to a high standard.
The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge equivalent to several years commercial experience. We will also look to you to have experience of server-side programming languages, such as PHP or ASP.NET, and content management systems, although this is secondary to strong front-end skills.
To be successful in this role you'll need to have these essential skills:
- HTML (and templating languages)
- CSS / SCSS
- JavaScript
- JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
It would also be great (though not essential) to show demonstrable knowledge in any of the following content management platforms:
- Umbraco
- Drupal
- Wordpress
- Kirby
