Account Executive

A driving force within the agency, our Account Executive will work at the heart of what we do: helping B2B companies stand out and get found.

You'll support the delivery of campaigns that create genuine competitive advantage working across content creation, social media and digital marketing delivery. With confidence using AI tools, social media platforms and creative software, you'll move adeptly between different clients and projects, prioritising time effectively and being a hands-on team player. This is a junior-to-mid role with real responsibility and visibility, supported by clear senior guidance.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days/week in our Cambridge office.

Responsibilities

Provide valued Account Management support on client projects:

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day account handling of specific projects and clients across budgets, timelines, briefing, client liaison and quality control, knowing when to refer upwards and involve others as necessary.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, consistently following up any feedback given and actioning with the team, responding in a timely and reliable way and taking ownership of day-to-day client communication across project phases, with senior oversight.
  • Provide contact reports and other communications as requested to ensure that all members of the project team are fully briefed and kept up to date.
  • Work closely with the account management team, sharing tasks as required to ensure projects are moved on, account admin is efficient, and communications are responded to promptly.

Support digital marketing delivery and content creation:

  • Draft social media posts for client channels with confidence, ensuring content aligns with client tone of voice and campaign objectives.
  • Use AI tools effectively to support content creation, research and workflow efficiency, whilst maintaining quality control and human oversight.
  • Create visual assets using Canva and similar design tools to support social media and campaign materials.
  • Schedule and publish content using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social or native platform schedulers).
  • Support community management activities, including monitoring comments and engagement across client channels.
  • Help produce monthly reports and provide suggestions to shape content direction.

Support the team to ensure work is strategically and creatively impactful:

  • Uncover category and competitor insights through desk research and monitoring.
  • Develop an understanding of the client's brand, identity and tone of voice to ensure it is adhered to consistently across channels and content.
  • Support collation of data and insight into client regular reports, including analysis and evaluation of KPIs.

Who you'll be:

  • Bright, intuitive and comfortable with change, you'll be able to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence in your interactions with others and be able to challenge agency thinking and have an opinion on your projects and ways of working.
  • Keen to be involved in as many areas as possible to build up expertise and help shape your own development, you'll proactively strive to remove the pain wherever possible from those you are working with.
  • At least one year's experience in a marketing role, either agency-side, client-side, or in a position with transferable skills.
  • Confident using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude or similar) to support your work, with an understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
  • Practical knowledge of social media platforms, scheduling and management tools
  • Experience using design tools such as Canva to create engaging visual content.
  • Confident drafting social media posts and written content with a keen eye for tone of voice and audience.
  • Curious, keen to learn and ambitious to achieve.
  • Pro-active and one step ahead, with excellent organisation and attention to detail.
