KISS races for charity in Chariots of Fire

On Sunday 20th September, six members from the KISS team will take part in Chariots of Fire, one of Cambridge’s largest annual charity events. Each member of the KISS team will run 1.7 miles in relay format through the iconic streets and colleges of Cambridge, following in the footsteps of the famous film, Chariots of Fire.

The race is in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and the money raised from the event will help fund the life-changing work of the charity who are dedicated to caring for children with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire.

The charity, opened in 1989 by Diana Princess of Wales, provides 24 hour emergency support to affected families, day care in the home or hospice, symptom management support and a range of therapies, from music to hydro and physio.

Team Captain, Victoria Ellis comments: “The work carried out by EACH is truly inspiring and the team are excited to be part of such an amazing event, raising money for families in need. We’ve set ourselves the ambitious target of raising £400 and whilst the team are busy training, we hope that our friends and colleagues can get behind us and show their support.”

Any donations will be gratefully received at https://www.justgiving.com/kiss-comm</https:>. You can also participate in the event yourself by signing up here: http://www.chariots-of-fire.co.uk/enter</http:>
