Video-calling start-up, BlinkPipe, retained KISS PR to substantially raise their profile in the Cambridge area, expanding the reach to include SME, business, facilities management and IT telecoms media.
BlinkPipe was launched in August 2010 to offer high quality, big screen video-calling services to businesses of all sizes. BlinkPipe connects to a phone and TV in minutes, with the video call enabled simply by dialling. The challenge for the Cambridge-based start-up was that its technology competed against sector heavyweights such as Polycom, Skype and Cisco.
Our tactical PR campaign has run since October 2012, with a steady flow of press releases, team profiles and customer case studies to key business titles in the Cambridgeshire region. In addition to raising awareness amongst BlinkPipe’s target customers, the campaign resulted in the influential regional magazine, Business Weekly, naming BlinkPipe a ‘Company2Watch’ in its annual ‘Killer Technology’ feature.
KISS has worked with a wide range of clients, primarily in the education, science and technology sectors. Projects we have been involved with include PR and marketing campaigns, website redesigns and rebranding exercises.
