In a very crowded and competitive drinks market, PWR+ needed a website that set them apart from the competition.

The client

Pioneering sports drink, PWR+ appointed KISS to re-design its website. With an innovative range of products in a highly competitive market, PWR+ needed an agency with a strong creative design capability and digital expertise. Following a competitive pitch against four other agencies, KISS was the clear favourite with its strong portfolio of holistic and responsive web designs for multi-device audiences.

The KISS solution

KISS approached the challenge by first establishing how PWR+ should differentiate itself from its competitive set. As the product is entirely natural it seemed important to clearly establish a level of grit and realness absent from some of the more superficial sports drinks. This translated into a creative concept based around being at one with the world.

Once we had established a creative concept for the site, KISS developed a design-led site that brings to life the consumer aspirations and product benefits of the first PWR+ product, ‘Perform’- a beetroot-based sport drink. Utilising modern web technologies, we developed a fully responsive site that uses full bleed images and masking effects to create a multi-level site. As part of the development, PWR+ wanted the ability to sell their products online, so we developed an e-commerce solution that is not only full PCI compliant but also fully scalable for any future requirements.

Although the site is very design-led we have integrated a powerful modular-based content management system (CMS) that allows PWR+ to make changes to the site's content when and whenever they like.

We are very proud of the new website which captures the natural essence of the brand, while delivering something that is different to what is available in an extremely crowed market space. The KISS team were able to provide one simple idea in their pitch which has been executed in the final design and build.
