Sue is an experienced account handler and brand strategist with more than 16 years’ experience in leading agencies.
After graduating from Cambridge University with a degree in history, Sue began her career as a graduate trainee at Ogilvy, working on integrated multi-media campaigns for Unilever Foods, Dove and Ford. This led to an interest in how brands communicate and behave across all channels and platforms, including internally. Sue sees brands holistically and always seeks to ensure that the brand experience is cohesive across the customer journey and internal culture.
Sue went on to work as a brand consultant developing marketing, brand and communication strategies for a large number of major brands including BUPA, GlaxoSmithKline (Lucozade), General Mills (Haagen Dazs, Green Giant), Dairy Crest, Selfridges, Harrods, The Body Shop, Currys, Recycle for London, The Environment Agency and the University of Sussex.
In 2008 Sue trained as an organisational coach at Ashridge Hult Business School and has in-depth expertise in vision, values and purpose, cultural change and leadership development. She is also an accredited practitioner of MBTI Step 1 and has worked with leaders and teams within organisations, focusing extensively on personality type.
