Loughborough trained, Richard first worked with West End design studio AGS establishing himself as head of design before moving on to RH&P, also in the West End, where he took on the role of creative head. During his eight years in London Richard worked across a broad portfolio of design and advertising work focussing mainly on B2C.
In 1985 he joined newly formed Ware Anthony Rust (WAR) as Creative Director, Design. Soon after he was appointed to the board, a position he held until 2007 when he left and helped establish KISS Communications.
During his 20 years at WAR Richard gained a number of awards and a wealth of experience across many sectors and disciplines including print and digital, applied to both B2C and B2B.
